Got this watch from my dad who passed away many years ago. i have searched everywhere and have not come across another like this. on the back it has M7 and on the front bottom it has T SWISS T any information on this watch would be greatly appreciated. The movement model on this watch that I put down should be unknown . I had put 10AN as I couldn't post it with out filling that in . I have sent the watch off for repair, and a cleaning so don't really have a lot of information .

Hello Rick, welcome to myBulova. I'm a big fan of family heirloom watches, I think you're most fortunate to have this beauty from your father. I have several from my own father (he was a collector too) and  I treasure them greatly. My guess is that your father was involved in a profession that required the use of 'military' time. I'd also venture that somewhere along the way the 13-24 hour marks where added and aren't original. T SWISS T has two meanings, Swiss being the country of origin,  Switzerland is VERY fussy about how that word is used on watches. The "T" designates that the luminous dots on the dial are comprised of Tritium, not radium, the use of radium having been banned.

I think the advert below shows your watch as a Sea King although I can't quite make out the variant letter.

I also think this is a similar watch

I would also agree with Sea King

Yes I think you may be on to something, but as far as I know my dad would of had no reason to add those numbers but I guess anything is possible . Thank you Geoff I must say the pic you sent looks just like my watch . Once I get the watch back from repairs I will post more on the movement numbers and such . Just a little unsure of how much I should spend to have it repaired . The only problem it had was the second hand would hit the minute hand and stop . From what it looked like maybe the stuff they put on the hands to make them glow , puffed up and was causing this problem .
