Here's one that doesn't really fit the design style of the year; as it looks more like a watch from the late 30's or early 40's. It's smaller than average for a men's and larger than average for a women's. Appears to be all original with the exception of the band, which by the linebook should be lizard leather. Case date is 1967, matching the inscription and movement is dated 1966. Currently keeping time.
1967 Minuteman "P"
It's interesting that this is the fourth example of this watch added to the site, and all of them are dated 1967.
I'm starting to second guess myself on variant. In natural light, this dial looks champagne (gold hue). It's tough with nothing for comparison, but dial is not true silver. Jim, does your "P" have a truly silver dial or a gold tint?
Is this possibly the "gilt dial"? That would make it a "Q" Here it is next to a Kirkwood that has a true silver face.
I now believe this is a Minuteman "Q"
