The date should have been 1967 (M7) for the movement and 1966 (M6) for the case. Sorry, not sure how to edit the details I entered.

Could be a Surf King variant.

The 1960 Bulova Surfmaster and 1966 Surk King are the only other models I can find with a fully numbered dial and sub-second hand, but there are differences, mainly in the number font.

The number font is a good match for the Bulova Porpoise, so we at least know it's not a redial.

Agreed that it should by 1967 and have updated the record.

I'm at Unknown at the moment.

I also could not find a matching advert, and did see similar dials used during the 60s - I am at Unknown at this point

Hello PJ, welcome to myBulova, your watch looks to be in very nice condition. I've looked through all our adverts as well and don't find anything to match either.

Yes, it is in great condition.

Could it be a later Surfmaster? Or Surfking AW? Found a 1959 and 1960 ad for the Surfmaster on the site here.

The Surfmaster ad showed full numerals and a small second hand track.

Macleans wonderful 1967 Golden Centennial ad.  Slight variation on the 6 but wondering if that was just a touchup done by the graphic artist.  Full page ad sent to Admin for Vintage Ad page.

1967 Bulova Golden Centennial "I", good job

Here is a better ad for the 1967 Golden Centennial "I".  I think the 6 was added to the ad.  If you will note the 6 oclock line is shorter than the 12.  The hands look slightly different in the ad. The font matches though.
