Hi, 

Thanks for quick response!

Before I bought it, the vendor described it as a Clipper, but couldn't tell me how he knew that.

There is no second hand on my watch - so would that suggest it is not a Clipper?

At the moment it is being serviced. I should be able to provide a shot of the caseback by this time next week.

The second hand is probably just missing. Ask your watchmaker to replace it if the pinion hasn't broken off.

Shawn is right on. the ALAC is a Center Seconds Movement.

The AC in the abbreviation standing for Automatic, Center seconds.
