Yep,that's the one.Someday I'll figure out how to post ads to my submissions.Anyone know if the yellow gold one has a different designation?

66 BB "AQ"

No question that it's a Beau Brummell. Not sure if we can assume the AQ designation now that we have it in both yellow and white. I would tend to tag either "AQ"as we really don't know at this point.

We normally see different variants assigned to different case materials/colors and the referenced ad does not specify if "AQ" designates yellow or white gold. I wonder if this watch has had a re-dial or alteration; the Selfwinding mark looks out of place, too low and not sharply printed, and different from Jabs' watch.

Beau Brummell no variant (or 2-tick AQ)

I was also thinking it had been redialed but I haven't taken it apart to see if it had any marks indicating this.I also have an example of a yellow gold case but that one is a basket case in need of a lot of parts and tender loving care.

I'm in for a tentative Beau Brummell "AQ". Nothing to indicate this variant came in yellow gold. It probably did, but the advert doesn't state anything of that nature.
