Watch Description

They made the same model in 1966 http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1966-commander-6790  The 1965 model has different text on the dial. The 65 has Self-Winding and the 66 it was changed to Automatic. I just found that interesting...

Agree with Commander ID, but no with variant "B", it´s white gold

still looking at yellow gold variant

I'm thinking 1965 Commander "B", as the white in ad may refer to dial color.  It does state Stainless steel case in ad.

These are handsome watches; Commander 'B'

Not sure what the ad is referring to as White, it is all stainless and the dial is silver.

Yeah, I'm seeing a Stainless watch with a white dial, just like the advert....

Commander B, really nice watch

Could be white dial they are referring to, but interestingly, in the trade 'White' means silver for furniture parts like hands, and 'Yellow' means gold.

Commander 'B'.
