Watch Description

1965 Bulova Commander in it original clam shell display case. Kreisler half expansion band is most likely original to the watch. Nice package - elegant.

Geoff, I don't think the Brown Alligator Strap text in ad will effect subject watch being an "F" with it's gold expansion band, but it makes me think your bracelet isn't original...  
...or, if your bracelet was orignial to the watch, then it may have a variant letter different that "F".

I'm three ticks for the "F" variant as there's no indication to think the different mounts will constitute different variants.

Maybe the original buyer succumbed to a superior salesman's glib chat, and changed the leather for a "better" mount! Lovely watch Geoff.

I think the watch looks much better with the gold bracelet than the leather strap.  I love how bracelets look compared to leather.  I don't like how they wear on the wrist, or how they wear out the lugs.  ...and the mounts very seldom effect the model or variant ID.
