Date code on the case back is M4, there is no date code on the movement that I can find, there are 3 different jeweler's marks on the case back and some tool marks on the movement.
Maybe but there's no ad to confirm, I've looked everywhere. There's only 3 ads with spiderlines on the dial that are similar to this one that I could find. One doesn't show a ID and the other is an American Eagle (didn't notice if it was an auto or not) and on a Jet Clipper.
Tentative Regatta 23 from me.

Looks like our last Bulova 23 ad in main database is from 1962?? I thought we had a 1963 in there, but don't see it now.
The first ad in main database for Regatta 23 is also 1962.
How late were the Bulova 23's advertised/sold (as such).
We have Regatta 23 variants in the model pirce lists in Fall 1961- so the Regatta came out before we have main database ads showing it.
I don't know about earliest/latest dates of newspaper ads in the decades for Bulova 23's or Regatta 23's.
JustGary, can you confirm if there's a date code on the case back and/or movement. The picture is a little too blurry to make out.
