LIKE NEW Case / Movement including period display case. Watch case is marked 10k Gold Filled, dial has three diamonds (well my watchmaker told me they were real). Bracelet marked Kreisler Quality .025 (yes I know the lug size is too small but it just looked so cool on the watch).

This 1966 black and white ad below states "I", but does not specify yellow or white as this variant:
I think at this time our ads show BB was this model pre-1967, and that in 1967 these became the Diamond Excellency models, based on the 1967 ad that was used to identify these previously. I could not find any DE ads pre-1967, at this time. Other DE ads: 1967 1967 1968 . Beau Brummell was still an advertised model after 1966, but our current selection of ads does not show any of this square case variety as such.
Beau Brummell, no variant (or Tentative "I", as we don't know the color of "I", only that it is either yellow or white).
I'm starting to think Lisa has one thrid party newspaper ad showing this watch as the "I" and saying "in white or yellow", however that ad may have gotten the "I" variant wrong. It is third party.
The official Bulova model price lists, which were contract modifications to the Fair Trade Pricing agreement btwn Bulova and dealers shows the "I" in 1961 and again in 1964 as being priced at $175.
These lists were highly scrutinized, as they were US wide contract modifications.
...and when I check the prices for BB's at $89.95, there are two-letter variant diamond dial variants at this price, but none of them are the "I".
I'm going for BB no variant.
I'd go one tick not confirmed if its ID'ed as the "I". I think these yellow and gold watches in this period were two letter variants- and its unknown which two letters that would be.
The ad stating "I" is just a misprint/mistake. Are there any other ads showing this watch as the "I"?
