Hi Kathy,

You should have a cape.  I followed the link you provided to the Regatta....they are identical, down to the hands, sweep, crown, numerals, and curve of lugs.  It doesn't show in my photos, but on my example the silver center appears to be slowly turning gold, just like the outer ring.  Neither picture really conveys just how metallic this dial is---almost like gold foil.  I pulled out a couple of others that I will post in a day or two.  One has a super interesting case.  The crystal has a very precise vertical press fit into the case back, with the movement and dial completely enclosed by the back/crystal unit.  Then this unit goes straight up into the case, like a piston into a cylinder.  Extremely precise friction fit.  Have not seen very many watches like it, period.

The other is a garden variety Sea King with a big crack in the crystal, but it runs well and was one of my first Bulovas.  I have tried to replace the crystal a couple times, but apparently have missed the measurement each time by a smidgen.  perhaps someone more astute than I can enlighten me.

Thanx again

jimmy

by the way, is there a way for me to upload the picture of the movement for this Regatta? It didn't go through the first time
