The watch has BXW.  I'm trying to figure out when the BXW Swiss to USA import code requirement was initiated, because I'm pretty sure they didn't stamp mvents with this before the date it was required.  I'd like to find out the end date for that import code requirement too.

I purchased a ladies 14K Bulova with a 3AE movement a good while back. I still have the movement. The movement is dated M3 for 1963. The movement is also marked BXW. Attached is a photo of the watch. As you can see the dial is identical to the one mentioned in this forum discussion. And this case definitely looks 1960's to me. My records indicate the case s/n was 317221. I believe the watch discussed in this forum is a 1963 model as well, including the case. I have a photo of the case back but I have been unable to figure out how to upload 2 photos. Everytime I tried to add the 2nd photo it replaced the first one instead of adding it.

The 3AE is a later movt, so I'm inclined to think sixties also.

Nice advert find Kathy - I updated to 1963 based on the year of the advert. I also updated the model name.
