-1961 Bulova
Stainless steel case dated M0, made in Germany. White patterned dial with luminous hands and dots, inner seconds track with blue second hand with a shorter length matching the track. Swiss-made 11AFC 17-jewel movement is dated M1.
For a long time I could not identify the model, but I recently ran across a 1960s Cola ad with various models. One of the models shown is a Midshipman with model number 11304. The pricelists show this model number as the Midshipman GW @ $49.50. The design looks to be a match to my watch. Of course the dial in the ad has been altered for the company name.
What do you think - Midshipman GW or Unknown?
Now this is an interesting one. Watch matches ad except for non-standard (Bulova) company logo. Bulova/Coke ad matches price list. Lug placement on case appears not quite the same, but that's most likely an artist perception variation. Midshipman or Midshipman GW works for me. Great ad for the DB as well.
