The movement was obviously replaced at some point.

The ad is in the pictures. It appears the bracelet could be original. It’s a Kreisler bracelet.

Nice match for a 1960 Bulova Senator "A".

There are 2 other ‘60 Senator “A” watches in the registry and this watch is not the same. Not even close. While this east h does match the other ‘60 Senator. There’s no doubt the linebook entry matches this watch but can you explain why there’s another Senator “A” that’s significantly different?

OK, this one has me confused. I just went to the 1958 -1959 linebook as well as 1960linebook139. Watch is shown there with the same stock number, description and photo as above and called out as Senator "J". Stephen, what linebook year is above ad from? Is this one a variant letter "jumper" dependent on year?

Based on 1959 and 1960 linebooks, I'm inclined to revise to

1960 Senator "J"

Above ad has the photo with the wrong description; # 13216 is assigned to photo.

This watch is the Senator "J"

The Senator “A” definitely appears to be a different style. But the ‘60 Senator appears to have the same case. The other examples of the Senator “J” have a starburst dial and no minute marks. What makes this a “J” and not just a regular Senator?

Can someone explain the difference between the Senator "A" and Senator "J"?

I mean the difference between the regular Senator and the Senator "J". The cases look the same to me and my dial looks more like the other Senator examples than the Senator "J".
