Additional Information

Any help identifying this watch would be appreciated. It was sold as a 1960's watch. There doesnt seem to be a way in to the back to look at the movement. The only thing to identify is "Bulova" and "Swiss" on the watch face and "V IIII I" on the inside of the case. There is nothing on the back of the watch. It has no marks and is completely flat. (Unfortunately I dont have it with me to take a photo of the back at the moment)

Hi robnelder, welcome to myBulova. I'm not sure what exactly you have here. Typically Bulova watches have something on the back side, even if it's just the word Bulova and maybe a serial number. The Roman markings were generally found on 20's and 30's models and indicated the last three of the movement serial, we think in an effort to make sure the right components stayed together. A lack of all markings makes me suspect it might not be all Bulova. Is there a way you can get some info of the movement and confirm that there is nothing on the case back?

As Geoff indicates, not much to go on here, so additional photos would be helpfull. Case and movement photos if possible would be great when you get the watch back in hand. Please send them to admin@mybulova.com and I'll add them to the listing.

Looks very similar to the '6501002' model shown in the botton left corner of this 1968 Bulova watch advert (F).

Similar watches belong to the 'Lady of Fashion' model line.

This is from a 1961 Houston Jewelry company catalog.

It looks like a 1960 Lady Bulova "FW".  (crown is different but could have been replaced.)
