Welcome to myBulova and thank you for sharing your mother's watch with us.  It is beautiful.  Based on the dial and serial number I agree with your date of 1959.  However, I haven't been able to find this exact model yet.  Still looking.

You are most welcome! As a side note, this watch cost $250 new in 1959. Based on inflation and buying power, $250 in 1959 is the equivalent of $2,562.94 today. This was quite a purchase when new.

As we noted they were extremely expensive in their day and as such not many were made.  Always great to see a new one in the metal.   Thank you for posting.
