Watch Description

Good evening
this is a different watch that I also purchased recently. It is definitely an L9 on the case so that tells me it’s made in 1959 and it is 10 karat rolled white gold.
23 jewels and I included a picture of the movement. For me it is hard to see it. I was told that this watch does work of course when I get it I will have it evaluated. I don’t know if this could be a diamond dream essay or another variant of the La Petite.
I called bulova today and there is nothing in their database. But the fellow did tell me that this could be part of the regatta 23 collection??

Front. Hope I did not mix up photos

This is in the 1956 line book on page 18.  The same as your 1961 watch.  This model lasted a good long time didn't it!  It also states white as "C" and yellow as "D"

1959 Bulova La Petite "C"

In my research I see that La Petite was popular. I am still pleased to have this model from different decades.
Thank you

I have the watch. Pretty and works great. Keeping time so far. Looking more closely the date code is actually L9.  So the initial dating is incorrect.  I have good pictures but seem to have trouble loading. Case serial is the same. The  band actually has many diamonds all throughout.
sorry for the confusion on the date but I was so positive I saw it correctly the first time.
this really should be 1959 La Petite.
