Additional Information

When I purchased this watch, I thought this watch was a Clipper; then I believed to be a Commodore, but now I'm not so sure. Therefore, I will need your help, to identify this model from Bulova. God bless you.

I think your watches are Yankee Clipper like these

Thank you, friend. I had a look at the Yankee Clippers, but they are Selfwinding (Dial); and this one isn't, this one isn't (Dial reads Waterproof, and mechanism isn't selfwinding). However, would it be possible that Bulova made Yankee Clippers that were Mechanical (Non Selfwinding), and that read "Waterproof" on the dial?

I reasoned according to the shape of the case, the description or the photo of the dial is not obvious whether it is waterproof or selfwinding

it is true that all known Clippers variants are selfwinding

but Commodore has a different lugs shape

as well as your watches may be similar to these Unknown

Hi DanielAbreu, welcome to mybulova. It would be very helpful if you could post a photo of the back of the watch. That will help us narrow down the choices of what it could be. Also can you confirm the watch movement is indeed 17 jewel?

Thank you, friend. Here are better pictures of it (Posted Above); and yes, it is a 17 Jewel.

A good match for a Yankee Clipper, but that is listed as having a stainless steel back case, so I think we can scratch that model out.

Certainly a Clipper of sorts, I just can't find one with a full 10Kt gold plate case.

I could not find any matches to this one. The dial is a very close match to the Commodore. I would rule out any of the Clipper models, as those are selfwinding and subject watch is manual wind. Unknown model for now.

It looks like an early fifties Sea King, but the case lugs are different. Possibly a marriage?

I also figured the possibility of this watch being a Sea King; maybe it is a 1958 Sea King. God bless you, Reverend.
