I am at a loss on this one. Yellow gold plate front loader. Stainless back is marked "anti-magnetic" and "Waterproof". Case date is L8. Indices are a style I have never seen before; like an arrowhead (^) with a small round luminous dot in the "V". Watch sat for a very long time as it has radium burned outlines of hour and minute hands on face. Lugs resemble a Bulova 23.
When received, the crystal looked like it had been sandblasted. and it was REALLY cruddy. The spring bars were so corroded that they fell apart when I removed the band it came with (obvious mid 60's replacement). It's now at least presentable, but needs more fussy work on exterior. Based on condition it was in, nobody has had this apart for a very long time if ever. Wound it up, and it's currently running and keeping time.
I haven't opened it yet. I would guess by the absence of a number on the dial that it is a 17 jewel.
