This appears to be a 1958 Bulova Senator "FW" based on the 1958-1959 Line Book BAWD 0136. The case is chrome plated brass with a stainless steel case back. On the inside of the case back it is marked "US ZONE GERMANY" also a Patent # and RP in a triangle. I assume this to be the case mfg. The dial is black with white applied coffin hour markers with numerals at 3,6,9,12 and lume dots / Hands. The 17J movement is a manual wind 11ACC with an L8 date code. It was real tough to get this one running. I could not get the watch to wind. After two new hairsprings and barrel arbor I found out that the center wheel gear had separated from the gear. That was a first for me. Then the canon pinion was loose. Ended up having a spare 11ACC and took the pinion to get it running. I think this is the first of this variant in the database.
