Watch Description

Just a really fantastic Bulova 23 here.  The yellow gold case is in fantastic shape as is the pristine with sunburst dial. I'll have to look for the variant, but I think there are several of our panel members have these guys memorized.  I believe with the case shape, gold color, stainless back, and white dial we have the Bulova 23 "G" model. L7 puts the movement from 1957 and L8 on the case gets us a 1958 watch.  Runs well and I'm really pleased with how it cleaned up.

Pretty spiffy!  I don't know where the cut-off line was, but I think this one was renamed "GW" in 1959 so as a 1958, it likely is 

23 "G".

Wow, one of the more nicer ones I've seen. Did you do any work on it, or is this how you received it?

1958 Bulova 23 "G" certainly looks ok to me, unluss there was another variant with the leather strap?

Not much... It had a broken band, but not original.  It was pretty dirty and had a bit of gunk in all the cracked and crevices but cleaned up pretty well with just toothpicks, and polishing cloths.

The dial is what caught my notice... Just really pristine.
