Watch Description

I've looked thoroughly through all the watches from 1956-58 on here and all of the ads from the 1950s and can't seem to find the model of this 1957 men's Bulova. Pretty neat too that it seems to have been an award watch for a Bulova watch company employee.

Very cool watch. Welcome and thanks for sharing. All I can say is "wow". Your watch is a

1957 Chesterfield "A"

Per the 1957 Linebook.

It originally came on a  gold band as seen below. I love the fact it's a Bulova employee award. This one is a real treasure. It's the first solid gold Chesterfield submitted to the site; and as far as I know only the second Bulova Watch Co. employee award watch. The other one is in my collection. Congrats!

I found his obituary !  It states he; Thomas W. Horn Sr. worked at Bulova Watch Case Div. early in his career, was a volunteer fireman for 69 years and lived in Sag Harbor, NY. Man. I love engraved watches!

Incredible work! Wow, sounds like a cool guy. Really happy to know more history on this piece so that the story can live on!

This is so cool to see, love that it belonged to a Bulova employee.

Is this watch white gold or yellow gold?  Hard to tell.
