Watch Description

The case of the watch says that it's 18k gold. I haven't been able to figure out the model, although the case that came with it (I'm not sure if it's original to the watch) says "Bulova, La Petite".

I'm not sure what the model is, but the case that came with it (it may not belong to this watch) says

"Bulova, La Petite". If anyone has more information about this watch, I'd really like to learn more.

Looks like you have a First Lady "G" model; 1959 offsite ad.

La Petite models would have diamonds, so I'd say the case is not original to this watch.

Looks to be in great condition, thanks for sharing!

Looks unworn, I'd say the ad is a match, 'First Lady G'.

Hello Eric, welcome to myBulova. Looks like it's never been worn, very nice watch. I agree the name is First Lady G. It is not uncommon that watches get stashed into display cases that don't match the original model but it kept this beauty in top condition all these 60 years!

Probably the 1st time I've seen a case stamped 18K, very nice.

Any of the 18K cases made between 1926 and 1972 were most likely made in Canada or Europe as the U.S. had restricted private ownership of gold ( higher than 14K) starting in 1926.

There may be a casemaker ID stamp inside the case back.
