So reading through the watch threads that Bob posted it appears there is a .2 mm difference between the Pelham and Gedney crystal.  When he replaces the crystal we will know for sure but for now I am ok with either ID.

If it helps any at all after reading all the threads it appears there is a .2mm difference between the 2 from top to bottom. I re-measured this one with the calipers again and came up with 24.2mm, the same as the pelham crystal.

I did it several times to make sure.

I am as tentative on a Gedney ID as I would be on a Pelham ID.

I did some online digging and I found multiple crystals that are labeled 'Pelham,' and they range from the contoured sides that match the subject watch to simply curved. Original glass crystals labelled 'Pelham' are different again. For example, SUC has two crystals for Pelham that are completely different. Sizes also vary slightly, by .1mm, but this is a minor issue.

I don't think we're any closer to getting this one nailed down....

I say remain consistant and go tentative

1955 Pelham

If a clear ad surfaces that says otherwise, they are all together.

Yes agree with Bob.  Keeping them together is a good way to go.
