Sure looks like a Craftsman to me. It might be a redial though.

There are many examples of a black dial if you google images for Bulova Craftsman. Under a loop it does not appear to be redialed.

Your dial looks similar to mine, which I don't think is a redial either.  I believe JP may have made his observation based partly on your movement picture, where it looks like some black paint is lapping around to the back side of the dial.  My example also has some black paint on the back side of dial, but that in itself may not mean its a redial.   You had watch in hand and checked w/ loope, so that's good enough for me.  I checked mine out pretty carefully too.

Yep, also looks like this 1958 model.  I thought we had a possible variant for these black dialed Craftsman, but I gotta look.

Craftsman 'B'

The $75 A variant is a yellow case with white dial

The $75 B variant is a yellow case with black dial (according to pricelists 55-58)

The $75 C variant is a white case with black dial (according to pricelists 55-58)
