Watch Description

15j Superb design. Previously  ID'd as a Chadwick by another user below. But i think this now to be the NUGENT (as also mentioned) and as newly added advert shows below. Agree or not?

I really had to think this one through DarHin.  I looked at the sentences in the ad text, and saw the charactors became "pinched together" and smaller as one looks to the right edge of the page, as does the watch, I think.  They become narrower.   Sure is a long looking watch in the ad compared to the actual watch.

I have the same watch and have also identified it as the Nugent.  The dimensions are as follows:

Case:  38mm lug to lug x 25.25mm without crown (28.5mm without lugs)

Crystal:  22.5mm x 20.5mm, hexagonal (G-S CMH407; WatchCraft P2MJ225)

The 1957 Watch-Craft catalog identifies that crystal as belonging to the Nugent.

Well! If you're going to use LOGIC I'm taking my toys, er watches, and going home!

I just bought the same watch today and it matches the dimensions of Lisa's watch exactly and looks just like the watch in the pics. Just another day in paradise since I only paid $7.50 for it and it runs. Only mine has a 10AM movement with 17 jewels and a triangle symbol and L3 on case back??

Good score John.  I agree the ad is just distorted, and those indentations on the watch case and in the ad at the 3 and 9 positions are very distinctive...but measurements make that observation moot.  It's great to have these measurement details.  Thanks to all who go the extra mile to post them.

Woops. I guess I need to go to bed. I got my movements mixed up. Mine is L2 on the movement and is a 10BT 15 J just as the watch in the pics and L3 on the case back. Too many watches on the bench to keep track of.
