Purchased from ebay because it was pretty. The crystal fell out of it after about a week. And have not been able to locate a replacement.
From what I've read and learned there hasn't been any maintenance performed and it still keeps time really well as long as you wind it everyday. I believe that means the spring has been over wound but I could be easily mistaken.

Hi r1cebrner13. Could you possibly post a photo showing the front of your watch with it assembled. Kind of hard to determine what it looks like with the current photos. The term "over wound" is usually used by those who know nothing about watches to describe one that is wound up tight and not running and they don't have a clue what's wrong with it. A watch can not be overwound. You can break something in it if enough force is used to try to continue winding it once it's wound up tight.
Nice looking watch. If we can ID it, you might be able to find a replacement crystal. I strongly recommend getting the watch fully serviced by a competent watchmaker if you plan to use it. Dirty or dry watches can and do damage themselves by running. A service interval for a mechanical watch is between 4 and 6 yrs. I buy a hundred watches a year on eBay, and I have never seen one that is properly serviced, even when it is advertised as such.
The power reserve for these watches is less than 40 hours, so you do need to wind it every day.
