Watch Description

Purchased this watch from the States about 6 weeks ago - 10k RGP - musical note like lugs. I had the back off  and there was a retainer to hold the movement tight in the case. This was spring like and it was a devil of a job to get back - I forgot to make a note of the movement number.  I don 't feel inclined to have another look!

Yes, the Ivanhoe, and we now have an ad for the Harrington and an example of the Harrington in the database.  It is a different case entirely.

Nova is correct, this should be changed to a tenetive "Ivanhoe", Harrington has been confirmed by new 1951 ad.

Lets get this name changed to Ivanhoe if that's what it is. It is certainly not HARRINGTON

Changed from Harrington to Ivanhoe 2012.11.05  This will reset ticks, and voting panel members assign new ticks based on new model name.  This may also "break" links to this record from other records/ forum posts, but Admin is working on fixing that issue.

I think it was all based on crystal specs, but I'll check for an ad.  We could place back in queue as an unknown and run through the gauntlet.  With the ad for the Harrington, it wasn't that model.

No ad I can find on site for Ivanhoe between 1950-1956, inclusive.

Gonna call it the 'bud' case.

Not the "bud", as I am a little "weiser" now.

21st. Century. mid-fifties ad.

21st Century? Or Century 21?

Odd name, but that's the watch, no doubt about it.
