really need a crystal for this.  My Grandfather had this watch when it was new. Any leads or info on getting a crystal is very much appriciated.

1953 Director "A" on the original band and it appears to be in the original box, like this one

 A true treasure, heirloom watches are the best. I'm sure someone else here will provide you with the proper crystal number.

Welcome to myBulova!  What a wonderful heirloom from your grandfather.  Heirloom watches are the best!  It is especially nice that it has the original band and case.  The original bands do not always make it this long.

Meshinka, as with all vintage watches we strongly recommend a professional service if you plan to wear it. The watch maker would also be able to replace the crystal at the same time.
