 Looks the same.... Would you be able to tell the year for sure?  I was just going by 1952 somebody told me

Well brother... you have to bite the bullet and take off the back.  (Believe me it's not as scarey as it sounds)

Use something not scratch metaly... I used a plastic spatula the first time!  Then you have the take the movement out of the back part of the case.  Should come out fairly easily.

Then take a decent picture of the movement... but you should see some sort of two lettering system...

Look under the INFORMATION tab above and go to BULOVA DATE CODES

For instance according to the chart:

1950's = L

Then the corresponding year number = 2

So if it is a 1952... on the movement.... or the back of the case sometimes... you should find a "L2" stamped someplace.

Stephen,

The lugs on watch #2 appear to originate from behind the perimeter of the bezel around the glass whereas the unknowns lugs are covering that same area, if You catch My drift.

Or maybe not, after a third look and I would tend to agree, dial matches also.

Watch #5's interesting.

Those lugs arn't the same as the OP's watch Wayne... I think we have a different watch.

 That Wayne is a picture of the "BREWSTER" model I believe.

No it isn't the same as the original posters. :)
