Watch Description

Preliminarily calling it a 1952 President "D".  I'm calling it a "D" based upon the ad which seems to indicate that's the subtype associated with the black face. The movement is a 1952 (L2) 10BM with 21 jewels.  That's consistent with others in the database.  The case has a 10 K rolled yellow gold plate bezel with a stainless back.  Its marked "Bulova New York" with an L2 (1952) date code. I feel like I was lucky to find this.  The crystal has some scratches but otherwise it's in nice shape.  Kind of wondering if it hasn't actually been restored.

That's $482 in today's money. If that's an acrylic crystal, you should be able to polish it.
