I was going to suggest the same Steve.  I'm betting it was a market variance.  We've seen it a handful of times now.  Depends on which side of the boarder you were.

The Watch cannot be confirmed as either model at this time.

* According to the ads the strap type is the determining factor - until further information surfaces:

'UNKNOWN'

Ambassador is my vote.

Unknown from me.  My vote has nothing to do with the mount.  I am unable to say, based on the info we have, which of the two choices this watch could be without consulting the magic eight-ball, and I can't find the darned thing now :)

There's always the 'coin toss' method of Model identification....

I'm unable to say also, whoever can may want to post Tomorrow nights Pennsylvania Lottery #'s, I'd appreciate it.

I think if we call it a tentative Ambassador for now we at least have it list for other to see and learn from. If we get a better advert showing the exact watch or other infomation that changes things then it can easily be updated. It's not set in concrete.

Admin, based on this logic, wouldn't it be just as useful to call it an Everett?  I like the idea of calling it the Ambassador/Everett.  It's an exception, but gives the best name IMO.
