Just found this listing on ebay. Looks like there were a few of these commemorative pieces. This one marked the 100th anniversary of Bulovitas (what's that? still researching) and there was one done for a US Senator named Harry Byrd in 1951 too. Both of the listings say it's a pocket watch and both are also 18k gold.
