Bulova 1952 Calendar

One of my favorites from the early 1950's - Bulova's first mass production date window watch. This one is dated 1952, and functions perfectly. It appears the dial may have been refinished in the past, as the seconds tract is slightly larger in diameter and the red box around the date window is not present. No matter, nobody recognized it and I got it for $41 :
