it reads on the inside, when taking to face and mechanics off. BULOVA 10k rolled gold plate bezel, stainless back NEW YORK. its a mens watch I belive, but thats why im here. And everythings original. still works. im just looking to see exactly what have. on the face itself there are three ruby colored long stones going in a left, right and upwards position. And there are no numbers on the face at all. they are all diamonds? real diamonds or not im not sure, but I havent sseen any similar to this. so thats what brought me here. and its also self winding.

if someone could just help me identify this watch that would be great, its a family heirloom. and not for sale.

Dial looks to be the same as the Beau Brummel, so we know its authentic. Case looks like a Franklin. Uknown for me at the moment. Also gives an indiaction what the stones are.

Yea I was really glad that I didn't see a smaller word "Movement" under the Bulova on the dial.

I don't think the case is Franklin - I have a Franklin I haven't added yet. The back is completely different than this watch.....I've got to do a bit more digging on this one.

Jodyann, the movement is not a selfwinding it is a manual wind. If it were a self wind there would be other parts. I have seen that dial somewhere before but don't remember where. Very nice heirloom and worth trying to find out the name for it.

I have the same watch, Case and 17 jewel 10BC movement stamped LO. Same dial, I know that I found it once in the Adverts as a Franklin but I'll be darned if I can find it now. The case matches a Franklin and the dial matches a Beau Brummel. Strange

is this watch worth getting looked at by a jeweler? I really just wanted some kind of leads on what I have, like the model and possibly a value. Obviously its not for sale. but as far as insurance value? I know some of these watches can be very expensive. so im not sure if I have one of those, and should I get it insured. And everone has been just so helpfull with my search for information. I really appreciate all the help from everyone. really

Agred looks like a Franklin case.  DennisVA has 1950 example w/ same dial.

Not seeing a date symbol on case back.  Not seeing a "circle" on movement, but could be a date code above where it says unadjusted (left of screw).
Jodyann87  Do you see a date code on case back or movement? See  http://www.mybulova.com/bulova-date-codes
