Want to verify this is a 1951 Thayer Model

Ken raises a very good point. Did Bulova produce a bunch of these movements in 1951 in the hope of the design taking off and selling out OR did they not sell as well and Bulova ended up with a bunch of stock watches AND as the years went by they had to update the movement (for sales purposes) in which case we wouls certainly end up in a position where we see the case with a newer movement. Now I'm back on the fence and it muddies the whole case priority thinking.
Still again for consistancy sake more than anythingelse, we stick with the case priority, noting that this watch could very well be a Thayer as well.
I suspect we may not know ulness we get a larger sample.
Based on this I'm ID'ing as a Duo-Wind, but only tentative.
