Watch Description

1951 Duo Wind Case Movement has a 1953 date code Not sure what is with this one. I found an ad for 52 but it and the examples in the database all have the word "selfwinding" under Bulova at 12 but this one is at the bottom above the 6 and no examples or ads to verify if it was moved down below for 53. Don't believe the Duo Wind came with the four sided crystal. Needs a new one anyway. The ad is from the database but it is for 52

Let's stick with the case date for now.

Agree with Duo Wind. This case can be found in the 'K' variant with strap and the 'L' variant with expansion band. Later became the Spencer model. Quadrant crystal is correct.

Based on the ad I believe the variant is listed and should be added.

Adevrt shows "L" with expansion band and "K" on leather.

I'd not include the variant as the subject watch does not have a mount.
