Here is the Ad that was used to identify this model... Should convince any doubters.

Can the person or persons whom gave this watch less than a 2 star rating please explain why??

It sure looks like a Air King to me....

Keep in mind that Jim's watch is a '51, and the Bulova File is dated '55, so that may explain the differences in the hands and sub dial....

I haven't voted yet, as I am researching.  I did notice the advert date difference and the sub dial, but still looking at other examples, ad etc.... It could very well have come w/ a slightly diff sub dial a few years earlier.... and I don't have to look any further to give two stars for sure.....most likely three.

The Watch initially received 3 Stars from Me when first listed, then someone must have came after and gave it  a 'not confirmed' to knock it back to 2 Stars.

a 3 Star ID

IMO

Can anyone explain to me why the second circular dial is quite clearly visible in the Ads but part of it is obscured on the actual watch. ? It looks as if the watch face is too large for the watch

It's just the height of the crystal which is cutting off the sub-dial.
3 stars from me.

Thanks for that  , just curious , had not appreciated how much the crystal can distort the picture.

Dial is correct. Its the crystal height that is obscuring the sub-dial.

3 stars from me.

Most definitely 3 stars or checks from me even at this late daye. But, in keeping with tradition, it is not on a strap as dipicted in the ad.  JUST KIDDING GUYS.
