Watch Description

Hi All!  I think this is a ladies AA.  I am thinking "FF" or "GG".  There are several ads for the "FF" but I have not been able to find an ad for the "GG".  We just know that there is pricelist for a "GG" and it has the same crystal as the "FF".  There is an ad that says it came in yellow or white.  It is becoming clear to me that there was not a clear order to variants.  Some the white came first and some the yellow came first.  Will look forward to your thoughts on it.

It is 10K white gold filled.  It is date stamped L1 on both the case and movement.  The movement is a working 6BC 21 jewel.  The case is in fairly good shape.  I just need to give it a good cleaning. The dial has a pretty heavy patina.  The dial and hands match the ad.

Edited to add the last two photos with a replacement band.

I say we go with the 'FF' variant, since that is the ad reference we have. The associated reference numbers for the AA 'FF' and 'GG' are also used by the Martha Washington K & J respectively, but I do not find any ads for those, and the pricelists do not mention color for any of these.

Listed with a different price and ref numbers (diamond case type), the Martha Wash J is white, K is yellow.

So, (reaching here) if the $75 diamond MW-J is white, then perhaps the unknown $62.50 MW-J is also white, which makes the corresponding AA-GG white; same for the K and FF being yellow.

I think that is a good way to go as well.  Group both colors under the one variant that we have an ad for until another ad comes up to clarify.

Works for me. AA"FF" unless proven otherwise by another ad.
