Watch Description

This is a small square Bulova with 3 diamonds in a very odd folding case...

The case is leather covered metal, I did manage to remove the case back and see that i's a L0.

Can anyone shed some light on this watch from Bulova in an obviously custom case.

It's certainly a first for me. Would be nice to see a photo of the movement and back case of the watch itself to determine if its a true Bulova converted/or original travel watch.

I did manage to remove the case back... it is an L0 - and the movement says Bulova USA - Ae9?

Ae9....could be something else. A photo whould certainly help. Also is there anything on the back watch case?

I'll take it apart again and photograph the movement...

Makes me a bit nervous, as I'm not familiar with the disassembly process... it just sort of came aprt while I was searching for a stamp on the case back...

Here you are... best I can do at this hour... sorry.  I might bring it in to the studio if this is not helpful.

Case stamped made in germany.

Hard to know if Bulova manufactured the entire assembly of if it was a creation of another company using Bulova watch parts. The dial and movement look genuine, but the case doesn't look to be from Bulova (could be wrong).

Tricky to know what to ID this as....perhaps we need another category called 'travel watch' or 'travel clock'.

Also on the movement inside the box there will be the movement model...something like 6AB or similiar.

Perhaps a non-Bulova case.  I can make out the Made In Germany part, but can't read the finer print stamped below the made in Germany part.

I will take a better photo this evening... looks like the case says : Weppler Germany - Made in Germany.

Movement says Bulova USA - 17 Jewels... I can not read the movement number on this pic either...
