Watch Description

I think this one is a 1950 Bruce. It has a 15 jewel 10BC movement with an "L0" date code. I haven't had it very long and have to do some work on it. It will run, but I have to wind it at the ratchet wheel. The stem will pull out and set the time, but pushed in, it turns and doesn't wind.

I'm good with Bruce.  Sure looks like there's two rows of groves on the horizontal bezels in the Bruce ad compared to a smooth rounded horizontal bezel on subject watch.  Maybe its just artist trying to show smooth rounded relief of horizontals as per subject watch?

It's an actual photograph of a watch in the ad, and the 'grooves' are light reflections on high points.

I f you look at the sides of the lugged area of the watch in the ad, it is a smooth curve with no indication of grooves. If you look at the OP's watch in the lower frontal pic, the bottom bezel shows the same effect. Just a trick of the light.
