Watch Description

I found pics of a similar watch on your website for a Director dating at 1948 or 1949. I couldnt find any references to the "diamonds" at 9, 12 and 3:00  -   do you think that they were custom added by a jeweller or a factory option? Also, you can see light brush marks on the case back. Is this typical factory finish or a novice (like myself) trying to make something look better?  Sorry for all the questions. I am just learning. By the way i have another similar watch, either Director or His Excellency with the Diamond markers. I will be putting that in next.

Thank you, John

What a beauty! Thanks for sharing it. Your watch is indeed a Director as seen in this 1949 ad. Looks to be a perfect match. Solid gold with 3 diamonds on the dial. Ad dated 1949

The back is factory finish as seen. I love diamond dials! Keep'em coming!
