Watch Description

This appears to be a 1949 Banker based on the Supporting Advert; however, the Banker in the advert inculded does not have the Arabic numerals at the 10 minute markers in the sub-seconds dial. Unless mistaken, there were no examples or ads of the Banker in the database for 1948-49. I have a number of ads from newspaper archives and have included an example indicating jewel count. The history of this watch is unknown. The hour hand, sub-second hand and crystal are missing. The watch runs with limited winding; the remaining minute hand seems to move properly and can be adjusted. The unsigned crown measures 5.33mm (digital caliper). Signed 4x: dial, outside/inside case back and movement.

I don't know if you have found a crystal for this watch yet, but I may have one if you are interested.

Banker works for me and this might be a good candidate for a re-dial.

I have a watch just like this one that also needs a new crystal. Does anyone know what the correct crystal for this watch is?
