Watch Description

Hey Team -  48 stamp on the movement   9 is the first number on the serial on the case   Looks like a squadron B but has a white/cream dial....looks like an original signed crown and bracelet.

14K filled would make this one rose gold, as the yellow model was 10K. Based on that and the dial configuration, I would be inclined to agree and say this one is a 

1949 Squadron "B" on what appears to be the original band; noting dial refinish in non-standard color

Thanks Bob! Yep it's a bit rosey still :-) You can catch it in the right light.

Ugh bummed to NOW see that dial refinish. You can see the painted sub dial is off-centered. Why I put them on here. Thanks again!

1948 Squadron B seems to be a match.   I will check and see if I might have a replacement dial.

The Squadron is a cool model and nice with that band.  If Jim doesn't have a dial keep you eye out on ebay.  I bet you could find one for parts that has a nice dial at some point.
