The watch is 14k gold and has 3 diamonds, one at the 12, 3, and 9. There are not numbers on the face but what looks like small gold balls. The original matching gold bands is there also. Any help?
Case is similar to an Acadamy Award but square:
Interesting... Looks like either a Jeweler dial upgrade, or maybe not, since it doesn't appear to be a "redial," for once...
Do you have the crystal proportions, in mm? Looks to be around +/- 18- 20mm wide x +/- 20- 23mm long... and flat around the crystal shelf on all four sides?? (i.e. an "X" rectangular shape in either BB glass, or G-S acrylic, crystal speak...)
Perhaps either: X2120 x 17.7mm? X2246 x 18.6mm?? (Both 1948 aftermarket BB glass crystal releases...)
Best :-) Scott

I measure it, I'm not an expert but it seems like it is 18X20 mm and the crystal shelf on all 4 sides. I'm using a scale to measure, it's not very precise. I can take it to a local jeweler and have him measure it. The is a strong possibility that it may be the aftermarket BB glass because the watch was purchased in 1948, but has the 1947 date inside. Thanks for any help. Bill
'48 based on case #.
This is the first one of these that I've seen in yellow. I've seen a couple over the years in white like mine:
