I have updated the watch entry with the correct date. Not 1928 but 1948.

Movement has a '47' date stamp in a 48 case.

Would be a Bulova 1948 His Excellency "GG", once we can confirm the "GG" was the yellow gold version.

Hello, thank you for all the info.  The case is 10k gold filled.   I took some more pictures today and i'll add them to the entry.

Ads show this model as "GG" in yellow gold plate noting it is also available in rose or white. Therefore, "GG" is yellow and the others have a different variant designation.

1948 His Excellency "GG" it is.

Thank you everyone!  I have a brown leather strap with lizard hide from Spiedel on there.   Matched the case fairly well.   I appreciate all the help
