Watch Description

This is a 14K white gold watch.  I think it is Gloria.  It is marked 14K GOLD BULOVA on the back and BOLOVA 14K GOLD NEW YORK on the inside of the case.  Very interesting lug design.  When I saw this in a 1948 ad I was hoping I could find one.  Seems to be running well.  Thanks.

Wow, there sure is a lot of design elements packed into this one. Great addition to the collection Kathy.

Thank you!  Yes I was really drawn to the design elements.  It is different yet attractive I think.

Very nice example of the Gloria. Pricelists show three variants at $71.50, A B & C, but no mention of a color for each. None of the ads shows a variant either.

What a beauty! 3 variant letters usually means yellow gold is the first choice. Likely a Gloria "A", but no confirmation besides intuition available at present.

Confirmed 1948 Gloria - tentative "A"

Sorry, it looked yellow in photo, I should have asked for confirmation.... If it's white, it's likely a "B". The road less traveled (rose) would be a "C". Bulova seems to be pretty consistent when 3 options are offered.

A = Yellow

B = White

C = Rose.

Confirmed 1948 Gloria - Tentative "B"

I'd say Gloria 'B' as well. Looks to be a clean example in good condition.
