Hey friend, me thinks you have a Douglas with an original band.

Ad is in the 1948 section.  Now you need to get the yellow and pink models.

Agree with Dave - Douglas in white. ( but a grey dial? hmmmmm, the sub seconds track differs? )

This is a very nice watch Jerin.

I just got this same watch and my dial is an excat match to this one. Very clean watch everything is the same but the band. Awesome watch....

I'm pretty sure I've seen this someplace as a Douglas "C", though I can't seem to find the right advert now.

I've had this exact same watch like three times.  The Douglas has never done it for me.

Yes, Douglas.

Jerin, shouldn't this be a '49 model?

I'm also curious about the "O" on the movement. Both of the 8AE movements that I have, have the "O" . There's also that "chevron" thingy on the 10BZ's.

Two of my 8AE and a couple other similar caliber have those "O"s.  I think Rev Rob commented somewhere about them.

Tenative Douglas for me. The dial difference in the sub seconds area and the color of the dial needs to be further investigated. Very nice watch and one that I have no doubt we will find an ad for sooner than later.

Six Known Douglas votes: admin, Geoff, Plainsman, Will, DarHin, JP- I think all are for generic for now- no variant C
Tentative vs Confirmed done by assigning ticks after published.
1948 year on mvnt? or are we good w/ 1949 based on case SN?
