This watch had belonged to my grandmother but has been in a safe for the last 30 years since she passed. It is still in working condition and keeps time but I have not tested it for accuracy. I would like help with identifying the design of this watch. The design doesn't quite match any of the examples in the catalogs and advertisements. The case is oval with a rectangular crystal and is made of 14K yellow gold with 2 diamonds inset in white gold triangles at the top and bottom. The metal on the sides of the face look to be cut with white gold in a way to look like diamonds (I don't believe they are). Lady Bulova, Dolly Madison, and Laurel have similar designs but not a match. I'm not sure if the band is original to the piece but is marked "FLEX-LET / 1/20 12K G.F. TOP" on one link and "2-49" on another.
Did they make variations of examples in their catalogs? Any help in identifying the design model would be greatly appreciated!
