This would be a Tuxedo model
Hello Steve, welcome to myBulova. You have a very nice watch. We see adverts for this model as Craftsman and Tuxedo, it's thought that the bracelet determines the name. In this case I agree with Daca that it's a Tuxedo model. This advert shows it in yellow gold. Thanks for sharing it.
I guess I was turned around on the adverts. I was thinking the Tux was the strap mount and the Craftsman the bracelet.
Craftsman on this one.
Based on the watch being presented with a leather strap I'm inclined to call it a "Craftsman" as seen in this advert.
I prefer Craftsman too
Yes, without the matching 14k band it cannot be labelled the Tuxedo...1947 Craftsman 'B'
Was there an advert with the 'B' variant?
Craftsman B it is then.
Thank you everyone for your knowledgable input. It is appreciated.
