1947 Cadet D I couldn't help but notice one in the DB has a 1947 D like this one an another one with, for lack of a better name "stick hands" I uploaded my 1948 Cadet earlier and did't notice at the time that there is a 48 in the DB with the stick hands like the 48 I uploaded as well as one with hands like these one? Are either hands appropiate for both years?
This style hand (called Modern) is found in a 1949 advert with the D variant label. I think this is the only ad that mentions variant between yellow and rose gold. The stick style hand seems to be in the earlier adverts.
1947 Bulova Cadet D
I just wondered because the 2 examples of the Cadet D in the Database one has the modern hands and the other one has the "stick" hands.
I went through the ads and found 3 instances of the cadet in 1947 and 1948, they all had the "stick" type hands. The "modern", hands, if you will, do not appear in the ads till the 1949 model?
